Don’t throw away your dried mascara, fix it in a minute!

Don’t throw away your dried mascara, fix it in a minute!

Can you imagine a perfect makeup look without a coat of mascara? I can’t simply spend a day without it. I like to have a simple mascara touchup even when I do not wear makeup. One major reason would be its magical ability to fix swollen eyes instantly after waking up in the morning.

There’s a lot of people like me, who consider mascara as their favorite beauty product. Even though mascara is quite useful at times, it has got some downsides too. One of the major issues is it often gets dried-up or clumped up. So instead of buying a new mascara every time it gets dried up, I figured out a solution myself.

You can fix your dried-up mascara in just one minute if you follow my incredible solution. So, let’s get going.

Lens or saline solution

The first method I am going to follow here, will require lens or saline solution. Those of you who use lenses regularly should already have it with them. And for saline solution, you will find it available almost in any medicine store.

Step 1: Open the tube of the dried-up mascara.
Step 2: Add 3-4 dops of lens/saline solution in the mascara tube.
Step 3: Close the tube. Place it on your palm and shake it for a minute.

The dried-up or clumped up mascara will get fixed and will be as good as new.

Now, if you don’t have lens/saline solution, then you can follow this simple method too.

Warm water

Step 1: Take a glass of hot water.
Step 2: Close the lid of the mascara tube tightly and then leave it in hot water for a while.
Step 3: If the mascara wand becomes dry then leave it in hot water for a while too. Then clean the wand and wipe it off properly.

You can easily fix dried-up mascara by following any of these hacks. This will save you money for not spending on new ones so easily!

Lastly, here’s an important tip. Usually, a mascara lasts around 3 to 5 months. You should not use it after that as expired product can lead to eye infection or other problems.
