Which facewash goes with which skin type?

Healthy, smooth and glowing skin is what everyone wants! I'm sure you want your skin to be flawless as well. In order to get a problem-free skin you have to follow the right skin care routine. And the first step of any basic skin care routine is cleansing. To clean up every day dirt, sweat, makeup or dirt from outdoor you need the perfect facewash. There are different types of facewash available in the market, such as gel, foam, cream, oil based etc. Also, each face wash is different, so you have to select the perfect face wash for your skin.

Different types of face wash are made for different types of skin. So, not all facewashes are perfect for all skin types. Today, I'll introduce a proper/suitable facewash for each of the skin types; this will help you to select the perfect facewash for your skin type.

Dry Skin

Dry skin is more likely to be dehydrated due to lack of sufficient amount of lipid (fat) or water. So the skin feels tight and dry. Soap based cleanser wastes natural oil in skin and makes the skin dry. So, select a soap-free, cream or milk based moisturizing face wash. It will clean the skin without wasting its natural oil and reduce dryness in the future. For dry skin, Dove Beauty Moisture Face Wash is an amazing facewash!  It is soap-free and enriched with unique NutriumMoisturizer which brings back the natural lipids of the skin and keeps the skin soft and smooth.

Oily Skin

The biggest problem with oily skin is the extra sebum production, which makes the skin feel excessively oily and greasy. Closed-off skin pores, Acne, pimple... these are also common for oily skin. So try to select an oil-free foaming cleanser, which deep-cleans the skin and helps reopen the closed pores. Clay foam type facewashes work really well for oily skin deep-cleanse. Because clay helps control the excess oil of your skin and opens up closed pores.

My personal preference for my oily skin is Pond's White Beauty Mineral Clay FaceWash, which you can try to use. It deep-cleans the dirt and oil that are stuck in the skin pores, so the skin has a matte feeling to it for a longer period. Besides, Its activated charcoal gently exfoliates the skin and removes dead cells.

Sensitive Skin

Is your skin reacting to specific cosmetics, soaps, lotions or any other homehold product? Then you have the Sensitive type of skin. The outer layer of the sensitive skin is relatively thin for various reasons, so it can easily react to things and feel irritation. However, sometimes the skin feels irritated due to the excess use of a product or a product that is not suited to your skin type. So you need to consult a dermatologist or a skin specialist to make sure your skin type really is sensitive.
Select an cleanser  free of alcohol, fragrance, hypoallergenic, paraben and soap to avoid irritation and reactions. Micellar Water type gentle cleanser can be a good solution for sensitive skin. Because Micellar water removes the dirt and makeup from skin and keeps it hydrated.

Combination Skin

In combination skin, usually some parts are dry/normal, while t-zones (forehead, nose and chin) are oily. So, use a balanced facewash that will remove excess oil from your skin's oily zone and also keep the dry zone moisturized.

Those who have normal skin type are less likely to have skin problems. That does not mean that  you can use just about any cleanser! Use a mild facewash that will remove the dirt from your skin but won’t make your skin dry by destroying the skin’s natural sebum.

Now, select the facewash that is perfect for you!
