Make the best exfoliator according to your skin type!

Make the best exfoliator according to your skin type!

One of the most common enemy to perfect skin is dead cells because they make it harder for the skincare products to get absorbed into the skin. As a result, our skin becomes more dry, looks dull and the natural glow fades away. Even though, dead cells cause all these problems, there’s an easy-peasy way to remove it from our skin.

It is none other than, regular exfoliation. In simple words, it is the process of removing dead cells and dirts through scrubbing. Some of you may think bodywash/facewash should be enough to clean our skin. But, they are not enough to remove dead cells. Regular cleansing along with exfoliating it 1-2 times weekly, helps to remove dead cells, dirt and impurities. As a consequence, it makes the skin deeply cleansed, leaving it more soft and everglowing.

Now that you understand how important it is to have regular exfoliation for a healthier skin, you should also keep few things  in mind before you start exfoliation.

Since each of us has a different and unique skin type, we must choose the exfoliator accordingly. Today I will share how to make exfoliator according to your skin type while sitting at your home.

Coffee scrub for sensative skin

Sensative skin often results in irritation. Excessive use of exfoliation makes things worse for the sensative skin. So, if you have sensative skin then you should go for gentle exfoliators. For instance, coffee is one of the most popular gentle exfoliators. By using coffee scrub once a week will gently remove the dead cells. The caffeine found in the coffee beans helps reducing your skin’s inflammation.

Balancing scrub for combination skin

You may face a combination of oily & dry areas in your skin. In order to get rid of such confusion you can use this balancing scrub.
Things you will need:
-    ½ Banana
-    1 tablespoon honey
-    1-2 tablespoon oatmeal

Mash the banana well and mix other ingredients in it. This is how you are going to make your scrub. Keep the scrub on you face for few mintues and then wash it off with cold water. Oats exfoliate the dead cells whereas banana and honey keep the dry part of your skin hydrated.

Lastly, everyone needs regular exfoliation even though they have normal skin. You can try out a gentle exfoliator mixing sugar and lemon juice for your face and body.
