In many countries around the world, summer means sunbathing, sun-tan or spending hours on the beach. But in a country like ours, with a high temperature and humidity, it means having to compromise with the brightness of your skin. Because in high humidity, the air contains a lot of moisture. As a result the pores on our skin opens up and starts to collect dirt and oil.
Besides, excessive exposure to the sun can cause permanent damages to our skin, such as blemishes and uneven skin tone.

Skin loses its brightness due to these, so we must avoid being exposed to the sun as much as possible. But in a country where its hot half of the year, it is not easy to avoid the sun. solution?

Cucumber is a common vegetable found in every fridge during summer. This common vegetable can be the natural solution to bring back your brightness.

What you need:
•    1 small-sized Cucumber
•    2/3 spoons of sour curd

Blend a small cucumber into paste and mix sour curd with it. Now, apply it on your face and your neck and massage in a circular motion. Wash it off after 5 minutes.

Natural face mask to get rid of sun-tan

One of the biggest problems during summer is sun-tan. It’s funny to think that in some countries, people go through so much trouble to get a tanned skin, but in our country it’s something annoying.

To reduce the sun-tan, you can easily make a natural face mask at home. Let us see how to make it.

What you need:
•    1 Tomato
•    ½ table spoon of sour curd

First, peel the tomato, then blend it with ½ table spoon of sour curd to make the paste. Now apply the paste on your tanned areas and leave it there for 20 minutes before washing it off.

Tomatoes have a lot of antioxidants which helps make your skin brighter. And like I said before, the lactic acid of sour curd exfoliates dead cells and helps you achieve bright and younger looking skin.

Regular exfoliation

Regular exfoliation is very important to clean the dirt collected on your skin. Every 30 days, the dead cells on top of your skin decay and new cells are born. There are many ways to remove these dead cells. This process is called exfoliation. This process removes dead cells, deeply cleans the skin and gets rid of the dullness. To maintain a bright skin during summer, choose a gentle exfoliator, which will not only exfoliate your skin but also increase the glow of your skin. Wondering where you can find an exfoliator like that?

If you want, you can make this exfoliator yourself.

What you need:
•    Orange Peel powder
•    Milk (for mixing)

Dry orange skin under the sun for 2-3 days and turn it into powder. Now add a sufficient amount of milk to make it into a paste. In a circular motion, massage the paste on your face and your neck for a while. Leave it on for 5 minutes then wash it off. Orange peel improves the skin complexion and keeps your skin tone bright and glowing.

Olive Oil treatment

Olive oil is an excellent natural moisturizer. Its flavonoid and polyphenol controls the free radical production of our body. I’m sure you’re thinking right now, “Free radical! What is this?” Let me explain then.

Free radical is a kind of molecule which damages the healthy cells of our body. Our body produces natural free radicals to stay safe from external virus and bacteria. But excessive free radical damages the structural layer and the defensive barrier of our skin. As a result, we face problems like wrinkles, pigmentation, uneven skin tone and dullness.

So, to stay protected from these problems you can try this olive oil treatment. First, take 1 table spoon of olive oil, then massage it in a circular motion all over your face and neck. Now soak a towel in hot water and leave it on your face for a while. Repeat this process 2-3 time and finally wash your face.

These natural solutions will help you maintain a bright, healthy and glowing skin during summer. Aside from following these you must also keep in mind another very important thing, that is sunscreen! If you wish to stay protected from the UV ray of the sun, you must apply sunscreen before leaving the house.
