Easy routine for care of combination skin

A little oily but also a little dry! If you are also confused with your skin condition then your skin type is ‘Combination’.

Today I am going to share a daily routine with you which will easily rid you of your confusions regarding your combination skin.

 

Start your day with balancing

Your first task after waking up in the morning is to balance your skin. Use a balancing facewash which will remove the excessive oil from the oily zones in your skin and will also moisturize the dry zones of your skin.

 

Multi-moisturizing

Does your moisturizer understand your confusing skin? If the answer is no, you must change your moisturizer today and chose one that will understand your skin and care for it. But the easy solution to me for combination skin is multi-moisturizing. A light moisturizer for the oily zone on your skin and an oil-based moisturizer to keep the dry zones hydrated.

 

Mixed makeup for mixed skin

As your skin type is combination, your makeup has to be a combination as well. You can use matte makeup for the oily T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) and for the rest of the dry parts of your skin, use an oil-based makeup.

 

Natural face mask

Use your kitchen ingredients to easily make your face mask.

What you need:

  • 1 Egg white
  • 1 table spoon of Lemon juice
  • 1 table spoon of Honey

Beat the Egg white thoroughly and add Lemon juice and Honey to the mix. After mixing the ingredients, use a cotton ball to apply it to your skin. After leaving it on for 15 minutes, wash it off with slightly warm water. This mask is really helpful to control the acne of combination skin.

 

 

Regular exfoliation? Must!

Skip exfoliation? No way!

Regular exfoliation is really important to remove the excess oil and black-white heads from your T-zone. You can use a balanced scrub for exfoliation of combination skin.

Confused again? Wondering where you might find a scrub like that? You can apply Pond’s Nourishing Facial Scrub as a balancing scrub. One should not exfoliate more than 2-3 times a week, as excessive exfoliation damages the natural oil of the skin and causes problems like skin dryness, acne, and irritation.

Proper cleansing before sleeping

No matter what your skin type is, you have to properly clean your skin before going to bed at night. It is very important to maintain the proper cleansing steps to remove the everyday makeup, dirt and tiredness, and to give your skin a relaxed feeling.

One of the common mistakes we make is that we directly apply face wash after coming from outside. But we must remove the makeup and dirt first. What if you could find an easy solution to cleanse the makeup and dirt from your face? To get multi-solutions like this, you can use Micellar Water. My favorite in this case is Dove Micellar Water. Applying it with a cotton ball or a cotton pad easily removes the dirt and makeup. Follow that with washing your face with a face wash and apply moisturizing cream afterwards. Your skin care routine is complete.
