4 Hydrating Exfoliators for Dry Skin!

To get healthy skin you need to follow some basic skin care techniques. One of them is exfoliation. Because just facewash is not enough for cleaning your skin. It’s very important to exfoliate your skin every now and then to reduce various skin problems like dead-cells, blackheads, whiteheads etc. As winter is just around the corner you should find a perfect exfoliator to keep your skin healthy and problem-free. Specially if you have dry skin it tends to get even more dry during winter. So, can not use just any exfoliator. For dry skin you must use such an exfoliator which not only exfoliates but moisturizes your skin as well. You can now find out how to make a hydrating exfoliator right at home.

 

Coffee Scrub

Coffee scrub is very beneficial for dry skin. It reduces skin damage, improves blood circulation, keeps your skin tight and contains the moisture.

Things you need 
- Coffee 3 tea spoon
- Honey 1 tea spoon
- Liquid milk 1 cup

First mix coffee and milk in a blender/mixer and leave it there for 5 minutes. When the mixture gets thick add honey and apply it on your face. Now keep scrubbing for 8-10 minutes in circular motion and then wash your face with water.

 

Green tea and honey scrub

Green tea and honey both these ingredients are great for dry skin. Green tea reduces skin marks and wrinkles. On the other side honey keeps your skin moisturized. 

Things you need
- Green tea 1 table spoon
- Sugar 1 table spoon
- Honey 1 table spoon

Take a bowl of warm water and soak some green tea in it. When the water gets cold add sugar and honey and mix it well. Now scrub your face with it for a while and then wash with cold water.

Coconut oil and lemon

Coconut oil is a great natural moisturizer, it nourishes your skin very nicely. And lemon brings a natural glow to your skin. This oil-based scrub is perfect for dry skin.

Things you need   
- Coconut oil ½ cup
- Sugar 2 table spoon
- Lemon juice 1 table spoon

First add the sugar to oil and then mix the lemon juice to make the scrub. Now scrub it on your face until the sugar is melted. Then wash your face with water.

Rice powder and honey

Honey contains moisturizing agents which makes your skin soft. That’s why this scrub works amazingly to hydrate dry skin. 

Things you need
- Rice powder 2 table spoon
- Honey as needed

Add the rice powder and honey to form a thick paste. Now apply this mixture on clean face. Very gently massage for 5 minutes. At last wash your face with cold water and apply a moisturizer.

Exfoliation is must for cleaning dead-cell and dirt from your skin. So, use these homemade scrubs regularly and don’t forget to keep your skin hydrating along with exfoliating!
